This expansive hotel is 10 minutes from downtown Atlanta and 17 miles from the airport in a largely residential neighborhood near Emory University. The lush wooded setting is a perfect backdrop for the lodge-style lobby, which features a roaring fireplace in winter and opens onto a small cafe and flagstone courtyard. Lots of glass is used throughout, giving the property a spacious, light ambience that is cozy and comfortable.

A popular hangout is the lounge with a billiards table, old-fashioned jukebox, and big-screen television. The vaulted-ceiling dining room--serving generous buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner--opens to the courtyard and woods with floor-to-ceiling windows.
